I have met Adrianna as a newborn at a local park, have seen her many times (bigger and bigger each time) since than! This is why I was so excited to have an opportunity to photograph this beautiful toddler girl! An energetic little 2 year old, Adrianna was too busy exploring to pose, but with singing, loud sneezing, and a few other "tricks" up my sleeve, I couldn't be happier with the photos that I captured of her!
Happy 1st Birthday, Baby R.! I could not have enjoyed this session more! Why? Well, for one, the weather was just picture perfect (yes, pun intended), despite weeks of rain and cold just prior to the date. Secondly, the location felt as if it was straight out of a fairy tale--beautiful walk through the forest, passing lakes and brooks, and leading up to a huge lushly green lawn overlooking the ocean. (All that was missing from this stunning scenery was a castle.) Lastly, and most importantly, the family, whom I had the privillege of photographing, could not have been more kind, easy going, and just such a pleasure to work with!
I first met Nina exactly a year ago, when she was just turning one! Although I have great memory for all of my clients, I vividly recalll her session--she was such a happy little 1 year old, who gave me amazing smiles, and had great affinity for a little blue rocking chair that I brought with me. I cannot believe that a whole year has zoomed by---time sure goes fast! Nina is officially not a baby, and instead a stunning, energetic, lively, and spirited toddler! I hope the photos below showcase these qualities, and sincerely look forward to photographing Nina and her family once again in the future! Happy 2nd Birthday!!!
If looks could talk....!?!?
Although I much overdue to blog about this session, I cannot write enough kind words to describe this warm and welcoming family, and their sweet little Shane!
Shane was a natural in front of the camera--posing (often unprompted), smiling, and giving me lots of eye contact! The Arboretum was not only the family's favorite park in Boston, with many happy memories, but also an ideal place to satisfy Shane's affinity for climbing. And even while climbing, Shane took his time to pose for the camera, and chat with me.
Shane and his parents are moving to Ireland, which saddens me, as I won't have another chance to photograph this beautiful boy. I am, however, glad that they will have these photos to take with them.
