One more preview...Despite the hot, hot. hot weather, this family stayed cool, calm, and collected. And also connected--I loved seeing their connection to one another, and hoped to have captured this in the photos, as well.
I love getting to know my clients. I have first met this family in January for Sofia's 2 year old session, and have since become close friends with them. Now Sofia is 2.5 and this is my third time capturing this beautiful, energetic and curious little girl. The beach was perfect place for this little one to spend her energy, discover various beach creatures, and enjoy her time with daddy (this was a belated Father's Day session). I hope I conveyed the fun we all had together!
Sadly, this lovely family is moving a few states away, and I will greatly miss having such frequent opportunities to enjoy photo sessions, playdates and dinners together.
These little girls were not only adorable, they love each other's company! What better way to start the morning than a tea for two, a little hugging, and some posing for the camera!
Although I am a tad behind with my posts, I am certainly working on catching up and am thrilled to share these photos

Well, the baby in the belly is here, and his name is Aidan.
I said this several times during my time with this little new one--but I absolutely fell in love with this little baby! He is so tiny, so pouty, and just so cute! In addition, little Aidan was just fantastic to photograph--he was sound asleep throughout his entire session, allowing me to pose him in pretty much all of the set-ups that I had waiting for him. His mommies, also brought a few special items with them, and I was thrilled to incorporate these into his photos, as well. Here are some photos from our time together...
Maternity sessions are absolutely fantastic! I love capturing glowing mommy-to-be; the look of anticipation and the many tender moment shared between soon-to be parents!
This couple was fantastic to work with--so sweet, gentle and kind. They brought many fantastic ideas with them--from little tiny baby booties to dad's army uniform. I am thrilled to show the resulting images here!
Happy Birthday, Dear Illiana!
Little Illiana just turned three, which of course called for some photos! As a mom to a three year old, I know this age better than any other! A little ice cream talk and little princess talk, always does the trick! Of course, cute little Illiana was a fantastic subject, and I could not be more pleased with the photos that I had captured--hope you feel the same!
Did I mention already that the best part of my job is seeing babies grow!?!? I fell in love with little Livi about 8 months ago during her newborn session (http://www.kaufmanphoto.com/1/post/2011/10/sweet-liviana-newborn-photography-brookline-ma.html). When Livi's parents asked me to photograph this lovely girl once more, I could hardly wait to our time together! Needless to say, Livi is now very much a grown up baby--full of personality (hope I captured it in the photos), inquisitiveness and laughter.
